  Submit the following:
1. A Completed Membership Application
2. A Copy of your DD-214 or Discharge
3. $45.00 Annual Dues

MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILTY in the American Legion is based on serving at least one day of active duty honorably in the U. S. Armed Forces during a time of war or conflict, regardless if you you actually served in combat. Due to a recent act of congress, this is from December 7, 1941 until until the date of the end of hostilities as determined by the government of the United States, until congress decides otherwise. Because eligibility dates remain open, all active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces are eligible to join The American Legion at this time. U.S. Merchant Marines eligibility dates are only from December 7, 1941 to December 31, 1946. For any questions please contact our membership chairman, or stop at the Post. New Members and Members transfering into Post 7 must be approved for membership at the next Membership Meeting.

How to Transfer to Turner - Brandon Post 7

A. Your membership dues for the current year must be paid, or payment of Post 7 dues of $45.00 must be submitted with your request.
B. You must include a copy of your DD214 or Discharge
C. You must include a copy of your American Legion Membership Card.
D.  You must include a completed "Member Data Form".
